Future of Higher Education

The Future of Higher Education Research Centre joined a new international research project, studying the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic on higher education.  Education research centres from ten countries are working together to explore and compare the sustainability of higher education institutions, their purposes in current and future societies and the institutions’ self-image, all in the light of the current pandemic.

Beside the Future of Higher Education Research Centre there are participating Hungarian researchers from Budapest Business School, the Corvinus University of Budapest and Central European University as well. The Research Centre will also focus on specific topics, such as the effects of digitalization on teaching and learning, as well as questions regarding the relation between the labour market and higher education.

The research questions, focus, and schedule were finalized on the 4. November, during an online research meeting.
